Meanwhile, fund managers and their admins have no visibility into the progress that the investor has made, and are required to work across multiple platforms and email chains to review submissions and request revisions. It’s a frustrating experience for investors and an inefficient way to conduct onboarding for fund managers.
Today, we’re launching AngelList Transact to replace subscription paperwork with flexible digital workflows that save time and reduce friction. Transact is a unified platform that enables fund managers to provide their investors with a personalized onboarding experience, and review submissions with their admin to close deals quickly.

Transact offers a suite of tools that turn subscription paperwork into intelligent workflows, reducing friction for all stakeholders involved in an investment deal.
For Fund Managers
Fund managers can send their investment documents to AngelList and we’ll create personalized investor onboarding flows that filter out unnecessary fields and validate in real-time. Transact can be configured with custom subscription documents, onshore and offshore feeders, and information update forms for both private equity and venture capital workflows. Once an onboarding flow is created, fund managers can invite their investors to complete the forms via email or by sharing a secure link.
Additionally, fund managers can track investor activity in real-time as they complete their onboarding flow. Once all documents have been reviewed and approved by each party, Transact’s DocuSign integration allows fund managers to collect signatures within the platform and send completed, signed versions of the documents to all involved parties post-transaction.
