AngelList builds the infrastructure where capital, creativity, and hard work come together to accelerate innovation. Today, we're setting the foundation for doubling down on our duty to eliminate friction for startups and investors in a number of key ways.
Simplified Name
“AngelList Venture” is now simply AngelList. AngelList’s sister company “AngelList Talent” is now Wellfound.
Since their inception, AngelList and Wellfound have made a massive impact on the world of startups:
- AngelList has moved to the center of the startup ecosystem, with $14B+ assets supported across 20k+ funds & syndicates that funded 12k+ startups (including 287 unicorns).
- Wellfound has become the go-to place for tech talent to discover startup opportunities, with 8M candidates, 150k startups, and over 6M matches made.
The core drivers of startup success are access to high-quality talent, capital, and tools that reduce operational drag so teams can focus on building. By formally separating the companies, AngelList and Wellfound will ship their respective products faster without the overhead of sharing a brand and codebase.
Wellfound will focus on connecting the world’s talent with startup recruiters and hiring managers, and AngelList will continue to expand the industry-leading platform for investors, fund managers, and founders building and investing in the next generation of world-saving startups.
Unified AngelList Platform
All AngelList products are coming together in an integrated platform, enabling a better cross-product experience for customers. With this change, we are removing the "Stack" distinction for our startup tools. Now, all products will work together under the AngelList Platform app names: Build, Lead, Invest.
There are powerful connections between investors, fund managers, startup founders, and their teams. The unified AngelList Platform is designed to amplify these connections through common navigation patterns and workflows that extend across the Build, Lead, and Invest apps.
Refreshed Brand
