In Q1, the AngelList team laid the foundation for a strong 2025 — welcoming Goutham Buchi as our new Head of Engineering, launching a beta intelligence tool for private markets, and preparing the rollout of UX improvements and feature upgrades to deliver a more branded and customized experience for funds and their investors.
Keep reading for the latest updates across Intelligence, Investor Management, and Fund Administration.
Intelligence
We launched a first-of-its-kind beta intelligence product–Fin. Fin provides private market data directly at your fingertips. Integrated within the AngelList platform and also accessible via WhatsApp, Fin answers questions like:
- "Who left SpaceX to start a company recently?"
- "Pull news for the top 3 investments in my portfolio"
- “What is the median pre-seed valuation over the last month?”
The beta is currently exclusive to GPs on the AngelList platform, with a public waitlist available. You can sign up for beta access to Fin here.
Investor Management
AngelList provides fund admin-agnostic software to improve efficiency for all fund operators, investors, and their service providers. With integrated Data Rooms, Digital Subscriptions, and an Investor Portal, we deliver a modern Investor Management platform through a single login.
[Spotlight Feature] Sharing Fund Files Through Vehicles — Investor Portal users and their fund administrators have a new Vehicles section, providing a clean, high-level view of a fund’s structure and the relationships that support it, including the associated entities, data rooms, and files. To share fund financials, portfolio updates, or other documents with investors, users no longer have to upload the same file and over. Instead, they upload it to a Vehicle once and propagate it to all LPs.

[Spotlight Feature] File Categories — There are now standardized file categories like Tax Documents and Investor Statements in the standalone Investor Portal software, making it easier for LPs to find what they're looking for through intuitive filters. This categorization also enables admins to quickly assign which LP team members can access which types of files.

Upcoming Releases
AngelList partners with Emerging Managers and Established Venture firms to launch, run, and scale funds, so GPs stay focused on deal flow. Relative to traditional Fund Administration, we pair modern software with premium back-office support for venture funds, scout funds, SPVs, and rolling funds.
We know every touchpoint with investors matters and that’s why we focused the past quarter on capabilities to enhance the fundraising stage of a fund's lifecycle. Over the next few quarters we're consolidating the UX of our Investor Management software into the existing AngelList full service experience.
The first of this upgraded experience will be the integration of the branded, visually-compelling format and detailed analytics of our standalone Data Room software into fundraising flows for Venture Funds and SPVs.
Be on the lookout for details in the coming weeks.
Stay Tuned
In the coming months, we’ll continue to upgrade additional fundraising experiences in the platform, leverage AI to automate financial workflows, and explore ways for GPs and LPs to connect through AngelList.
